Super 8 by Wyndham Bemidji MN

Breakfast : I needed to leave quite early and everything was out on time, and had several choices, all good. Special note, I arrived later in the afternoon, early evening, and am 76 years of age. When checking in the Desk Attendant asked, "are steps a issue?" I said actually yes they can be. "well than lets be sure to get you a first floor room!" I have never had a desk clerk pay attention to customers, and anticipate their needs like this gentleman did. I believe his name was Tracy. Many places when you check in, they treat you like a diversion, rather than a customer. My thanks to him.

We always wish that somehow the vent/heater/air-conditioning unit were less noisy. I wear earplugs; that helps. And we noticed the room seemed somewhat humid or stuffy maybe? So we ran this unit all the time. The breakfast was very good with a good amount of variety; wish though that Cheerios and a granola-type cereal were offered. Maybe hot cereal too, but really, what was available was much better than similar hotels who offer only rolls, coffee, and maybe a couple cold cereals.

The location was, easy to get to the site of our events. However... two matters that need your attention: 1) the aircon/heater filter was filthy -- a thick layer of yucky stuff. I do not pay hotel fees to have to do my own cleaning! 2) the breakfast offerings were skimpy compared to other Super 8 stays. There was no change in the hot food menu, no tea in the breakfast room, no fruit, etc

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean and had bars in the shower- there appeared to be mold in one corner of the tub- not much. The breakfast was hot and good- porridge and homemade biscuits which you don’t always see. Coffee was delicious. There was coffee and tea in the lobby available all day.

The service was great very accomodating
